*These are a new line of "rustic" buttons we're offering that are not sanded on as many grits as our buttons normally are (yet still sanded on quite a few grits beyond most handmade wood buttons out there), so that we can offer them more affordably to you. A great deal!

These wooden buttons were created by my husband Jeff in huckleberry wood. We are grateful to live in a forest covered in huckleberry bushes. We enjoy harvesting the little, juicy berries every fall. Sometimes a branch breaks or a few branches are hanging over the pathway and need to be trimmed, then Jeff makes buttons with them. I love the warm hue of this wood and the natural bark around the edges. Sanded smooth- you'll love the way they feel. Pictured with grey yarn, these buttons would pair nicely with many different colors.

~Care Instructions~ Care for these buttons as you would wool: hand wash garment in cool water and lay flat to dry. If the wood should dry out from washing, a little walnut oil (or other natural oil) on a soft cloth works well to moisturize them. Oiling them will keep your buttons beautiful and protect them from drying out.
