These wood & turquoise earrings were created by my husband Jeff in Oregon myrtlewood. This type of Myrtlewood is special in that it only grows in southern Oregon and northern California, along the coast.

Myrtlewood has so much variety in the hue and grain. It also takes such a shine! Some pieces are almost like stones, and can look like Tiger's Eye.

I love the drop shape of these earrings, the tiny size, and the beautiful blue turquoise stones. Jeff did woodburning on these, taking his time to create these beautiful designs. Each and every one is unique, thus the beauty of handmade.

Jeff does a free style woodburning, I think of it like doodling on paper. He has so much fun doing it, and I just love the results! He puts so much time and love into creating these works of art for people to enjoy wearing!

Jeff sands these earrings so smooth, you'll love the way they feel. All the sanding and polishing also brings out the beauty of the wood, and makes it glow.

These earrings are so nice and lightweight! They come on sterling silver plated ear wires.
