These wood & turquoise earrings were created by my husband Jeff in red cedar wood. I'm a fan of cedar wood and especially red cedar with it's rosy hue. To create these earrings, he purposely chose pieces of the wood that had two hues, which gives such a fun look with beautiful contrast.

I love the drop shape of these earrings, the size of these, and the beautiful blue turquoise stones. Jeff did woodburning on these, taking his time to create these beautiful designs. Jeff does a free style woodburning, I think of it like doodling on paper. He has so much fun doing it, and I just love the results! He puts so much time and love into creating these works of art for people to enjoy wearing!

Jeff sands these earrings so smooth, you'll love the way they feel. All the sanding and polishing also brings out the beauty of the wood, and makes it glow. Not only is the cedar wood beautiful, it also makes for lightweight earrings.

For an aromatherapy treat, put a drop of your favorite essential oil on the backside of these earrings to enjoy the scent while you wear them. (Cedar is an absorbent wood and perfect for this.) These earrings come on sterling silver plated ear wires.
