These handmade wooden heart buttons were created in red cedar wood by my husband Jeff. I love cedar wood and especially red cedar with that rosy hue. I love the carved heart shapes that he creates! They take more time to create with that shape, but the results are so worth it. (Keep in mind they will not be perfect heart shapes, they are handmade, so each with have it's own unique character and handmade qualities. Also keep in mind that the wood will vary from batch to batch.) He sands and polishes the buttons so smooth, you'll love the way they feel. All the sanding and polishing also brings out the beauty of the wood, and makes it glow.

~Care Instructions~ Care for these buttons as you would wool: hand wash garment in cool water and lay flat to dry. If the wood should dry out from washing, a little walnut oil (or other natural oil) on a soft cloth works well to moisturize them. Oiling them will keep your buttons beautiful and protect them from drying out.

Beautiful buttons- size shape though hearts are shaped like a real button. Color is very natural with a nice satin finish.
